The Sensor Switch PP5LV SHUNT bypass relay operates as an automatic bypass shunt for low voltage class 2 control devices for emergency powered lighting loads. The relay is open when normal power is present, but will latch closed if normal power is lost. When using INV option the opposite holds true. The relay is closed when normal power is present, but will latch open if normal power is lost. An elongated chase nipple attaches directly to a junction box or fixture through a ½” knockout. Users can test the emergency operation using the push-button.
