Although Oxygen is not the first to don this basic of profiles, it is possibly one of the most refined.  O0 is a work of minimalism with just over a 7/8" diameter, while O1 has a profile of 1-3/8".  O3 at a nominal 3-5/16" diameter, can house multiple lamps or LEDs and nearly all ballast/driver options.  O3.1, also at a nominal 3-5/16" diameter (LED only), adds bi-directional distribution to the lineup.
