The Electron reflects efficient engineering, without compromising beauty or functionality. It is illuminated with energy efficient LED strips through frosted clear acrylic along the inner and outer rings. The double-sided lighting maximizes illumination, while the LED maximizes efficiency. Aside from its beauty, the frosted acrylic also serves a functional purpose, as it is easy on the eyes.  There are no hot spots, as they are cleverly concealed.  The light has a pleasing colour temperature of 3000K.
