The granite sculptures are made from stone taken from places that had meaning to each of the three victims killed in the explosion: 8-year-old Martin Richard, 23-year-old Lingzi Lu, and 29-year-old Krystle Campbell. For Marty, the stone came from Franklin Park, and for Krystle, the stone came from Spectacle Island.
Color Changing Lumenpulse Lumenbeam Mediums were installed at the base of each column to synchronize with each column with various color changing scenes. Designplan Litus uplights are used to light the adjacent stone sculpture.
